On April 29, 2023, Bossier City’s Red River South Marina was abuzz with excitement as fishing enthusiasts gathered for the highly anticipated Mechanical Concepts’ Bass Tournament weigh-in. This thrilling event showcased the skills and expertise of anglers from near and far, as they competed for glory and generous prizes on a sprinkling day. With its cloudy backdrop and fierce competition, the tournament still proved to be an unforgettable experience for both participants and MC’s Team alike.
Organized by Mechanical Concepts, a leading company in the Commercial & Industrial HVAC industry, the Scramble aimed to celebrate the art of bass fishing while fostering camaraderie among anglers. The tournament attracted participants of various skill levels, from seasoned professionals to passionate amateurs, all eager to test their mettle against the various lakes’ elusive bass population.

Jason and Betsy (not pictured) Pickett walked away with the grand prize of $3,000. Their collaborative efforts reeled in a total of five fish, with a total stringer weight of 25.14 lbs.
