Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Location: South Louisiana and the Mississippi Gulf Coast

We are Mechanical Concepts LLC, an established equipment distribution and service company with a strong track record.  We are the Factory-authorized service provider for Daikin Industries equipment, giving our technicians direct exposure to OEM systems, training, and support.  We are now expanding into the South Louisiana and Mississippi Gulf Coast market.

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on, field-based role focused on diagnosing, servicing, and maintaining commercial HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC systems
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment and control systems
  • Work with DDC (Direct Digital Controls) systems
  • Communicate findings and recommended solutions clearly with customers and team members
  • Maintain accurate service records
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently

Qualifications

  • Experience servicing HVAC systems and DDC controls
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from a technical/trade school (HVAC certification required)
  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Clean driving record
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Commitment to a safe work environment, including passing required pre-employment screenings

Compensation and Benefits

  • We position our compensation to be among the top in the market
  • Full-time position (40 hours guaranteed)
  • Paid bi-weekly, with overtime as needed
  • Take home truck/van, laptop, phone and specialty tools provided

  • Health insurance (50% company-paid for employee or family; eligibility after 90 days)
  • Long-term disability coverage (60% of salary; 100% company-paid after 90 days)
  • $20,000 company-paid life insurance (after 90 days)
