HVAC Engineer Customer Sales

Location: New Orleans/Metairie, LA

We represent worldclass HVAC manufacturers such as Daikin and BAC and specialize in applied solutions including VRF/VRV, chillers, airside systems, DOAS, energy recovery, advanced building automation controls and service. Our team works closely with customers from early system concepts through construction and commissioning, ensuring systems perform as intended.

Overview

This role works closely with company leadership and the sales team to position our products and services with engineers, contractors, and customers. You will be involved in equipment selection, pricing, and technical support while building strong relationships within the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with engineers, contractors, and customers
  • Support equipment selection and application guidance
  • Assist with pricing, proposals, and project solutions
  • Present technical information to customers and project teams
  • Coordinate with manufacturers and internal teams
  • Stay engaged with customers on current and future project opportunities
  • Represent the company professionally in all interactions

 

Qualifications

  • Sales and/or technical experience in the HVAC industry
  • Experience with heating and air conditioning systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to clearly present technical information
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Comfortable selling value, not just lowest cost
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Well organized with disciplined work habits
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

Compensation and Benefits

  • Commission-based position following initial training period, with defined base pay based on experience
