The tranquil waters of Caney Lake came alive with excitement as the Mechanical Concepts “Crushin’ em on Caney” Bass Tournament took center stage at Hook’s Marina. With 32 teams vying for the top honors, anglers from near and far gathered for a day of fierce competition and camaraderie.
From dawn till dusk, the lake echoed with the sound of engines roaring and reels spinning, as participants showcased their angling prowess in pursuit of the elusive bass. Each team brought their A-game, navigating the waters with skill and determination in search of the perfect catch.
In a thrilling finale, it was Danny Gross and Trey Bayles who emerged victorious, clinching the coveted first-place prize of $3,000. Their impressive performance and strategic maneuvers throughout the day set them apart from the competition, earning them well-deserved recognition. The excitement didn’t end there. Rylon Ganey and Erin Pali secured the second-place spot, not only walking away with $1,500 but also claiming the prestigious Big Bass prize.
